Q. How does the Parking Agency System Work?

Q. How do I tell you when i've issued a parking ticket?
A. Go to www.parkingagency.co.uk/tickets/ and login using your username and password. Parking Agency customers log issued parking tickets securely online. Customers do this so that we can pay compensation charges.

Q. How large are the Parking Agency warning signs?
A. 24” (height) x 32” (Width)

Q. Are the warning signs weather proof?
A. Yes. The Parking Agency warning signs are moade from Foamex, which is a durable and lightweight plastic.

Q. How to I put up the warning signs?
A. We suggest liquid “No Nails”, screws or nails to attach signage to your property.

Costs

Q. Do you charge an ongoing annual/monthly registration or contract fee?
A. No. Customers pay for our products as and when you need them.

Q. Do I have to pay for additional parking charge tickets?
A. No. Parking charge tickets are issued free of charge (a small postage fee is applicable).

Q. Do I have to pay any legal costs when you put a motorist into court?
A. No. We cover these costs.

Q. Do I have to pay for additional parking permits and civil notices?
A. Yes. Details of costs can be found on our shop page.

Q. How often do you pay compensation payments?
A. Compensation payments are paid at the end of every month (a month in arrears).

Legal Information

Q. How can you legally issue parking charge tickets?
A. Our system is based on contract law. Any motorist entering the land and seeing the contractual warning sign (displaying conditions for parking) enters a contract regarding the parking regulations. If a motorist chooses to ignore the terms and conditions of parking, they are breaking the contract. This is enforceable in the civil courts.

Q. Who issues the parking tickets?
A. The car park owner or member of staff can issue a parking ticket if a motorist does not follow to the warning sign parking regulations.

Q. Do I need a license from the SIA (Security Industry Authority) ?
A. No. The Parking Agency system does not involve the immobilisation of a motor vehicle and therefore customers do not require an SLA liscense.

Refunds

Q. If I am not happy with the service how can I obtain a refund?
A. Refunds are at the discretion of the Parking Agency management.
